Ironline Command

Ironline Command asks you to think two moves ahead constantly. It's a real-time strategy game built around supply routes rather than raw unit counts, so cutting off an enemy's road matters more than winning a straight fight. That focus makes it feel fresh on a small screen.

The pinch-to-zoom map is smooth, and you can slow time down when things get frantic — a feature I leaned on more than I'd admit. Selecting groups can get fiddly during big battles, which is my main complaint. On a smaller phone you'll wish for a tablet.

It runs the battery down quickly during long matches, so this is a home-on-the-couch game more than a commute game. Worth it for anyone who likes to outthink rather than out-click.
